Introducing Rain Concepts ………..Rainwater Harvesting Systems.

A Florida based company supporting new technology and innovation towards the conservation of our most important natural resources, freshwater.

By offering the installation of environmentally friendly rainwater harvesting systems.  We hope to help pave the way in convincing our state local water authorities that naturally soft, mineral free rainwater may be an option to help lessen the demand by Florida residents on our local water supplies.

RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS

Rain harvesting has significant potential to provide environmental and economical benefit by reducing stormwater  runoff and conserving potable water, though several barriers exist that limit is application.  The U.S. uses more water per capita  than other country, with potable water delivered for the majority of domestic and commercial applications.  Typical domestic indoor per capita water use is seventy gallons per day on a minimum and may reach three hundred to four hundred per day at its maximum.  However, outdoor water use can constitute 25% to 58% of overall domestic demand, increasing per capita domestic use up to four hundred to five hundred gallons per day.

The overwhelming majority  of the water used in the U.S. comes from fresh water supplies of surfaces and rainwater . Water extracted for Florida’s public systems is treated to potable standards as defined by the safe drinking water act access to high quality water has greatly benefited public health , but it has also resulted in our current system that utilizes potable water for virtually every end use, even when lesser quality water would be sufficient.  In addition to conservation methods, using alternative resources of water will be necessary for more efficient use of water resources.
